Gene Therapy Innovation Center

Located in West Philadelphia in the heart of University City, our 500,000-square-foot, multi-story Gene Therapy Innovation Center will serve as a Roche center of excellence for gene therapy manufacturing globally. The new space will allow cross-functional teams to come together and work side by side to create a world where no life is limited by disease.

After breaking ground on the GTIC in 2023, Spark’s construction team lifted and placed the last steel beam atop the building’s structural framework in February 2024. Among the final beams to be installed are those that were signed by our team members and partners who proudly made their ‘mark’ on the very promising future of Spark.
